About Us

It is the Mission of Victim2Victor to provide for residents of North Carolina, who have been affected by burn trauma, the resources necessary to move from the status of VICTIM to that of VICTOR.
In addition to the burn survivors themselves, others may be victims of burn trauma also. This group can include family members of the survivor, friends, co-workers, rescue personnel and care providers.
COMMUNITY provides the connection -- 2-- for Victim2Victor.
Connecting on a personal level is an important part of the recovery process. We are all in this together. If you think you are alone...think again! We are here for you 24/7. Pick up the phone or email us.

SOAR

S.O.A.R. stands for Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery. SOAR is a peer support training process provided by the Pheonix Society (a national burn organization) to equip burn survivors to provide peer assistance to those who are on the journey of recovery from a burn trauma. This may include the burned person as well as spouses, children, or friends of the injured person. Caregivers and professionals such as nurses and emergency personnel are included in this population.
